Efforts continue to translate the documentation available at GITEC into English language, and to create new content in English, as well. For the time being, the main focus remains on translating Prof. Zollner’s book “Physik der Elektrogitarre” (Physics of the Electric Guitar, abbreviated PotEG). As can be seen from the contents page, we have made quite a lot of progress: Chapters 4, 5, and 9 have already been completed, as has a large section of Chapter 10. The release of the remainder of Chapter 10, and of Chapter 11, is imminent – the text merely needs to be proofread. At present, Chapters 6 and 7 are in the works. If all goes well, both these Chapters and also Chapter 8 should be ready for posting in late 2019.

If you have any special interest in getting your hands on a translation of parts of the book, or of one of the scientific articles that are only available in German, let us know. We might be able to re-prioritize correspondingly.
